The National Aeronautics and Space Administration or NASA is an American civil space program and currently one of the world's leaders in space exploration and research.

First established in 1958 by Dwight D. Eisenhower, NASA is most well known for leading most of the US' major space exploration efforts, including many Apollo Moon landing missions, launching the Skylab space station and supporting the International Space Station.
